QVCCS App Suite

The QVCCS App Suite.
50+ applications* for Genesys Cloud CX.

Purpose-built applications our engineers – and your administrators – use to monitor, diagnose, audit and change Genesys Cloud CX faster and more safely. Every application is built on the Genesys Cloud Platform API and included at every Managed Professional Services tier. Applications that inspect your org are read-only. The few that can change it, such as Code Editor, Forget Me, Config Import, WebRTC Manager, Email Picker and Message Search, act only when an authorised user asks them to, and only within the permissions of the OAuth client your organisation grants.

50+ is an indicator of the suite’s size, not a fixed count. The suite keeps growing through continuous integration and development, and clients always see the current list in the QVCCS apps portal.

Continuously integrated and updated. Applications change frequently, so this public website may not reflect the latest features, screens and behaviour. The user guides published here are samples; current guides are available in each application through the QVCCS apps portal, included with every Managed Professional Services tier.

Start from the question

Which app answers my question?

Start from the question, not the app. Each row below names the QVCCS apps that answer it, with the place in Genesys Cloud CX we would look first, so you can see where the suite adds depth and where the native view is enough.

Live monitoring & wallboards

  • Who is available, on queue or on a break right now?

    • CX Pulse
    • Queue Activity
    • Supervisor Dashboard

In Genesys Cloud CXThe Agents Status Summary and Detail views show agent statuses in real time.

  • Is our carrier SIP trunk down, and did calls move to the backup trunk?

In Genesys Cloud CXTrunk status shows on the External Trunks and Phone Trunks tabs, and Telephony Metrics widgets chart trunk call counts.

  • Where are our callers contacting us from at this moment?

In Genesys Cloud CXThe Interactions view lists live conversations, filterable by ANI, DNIS, direction and state.

Diagnostics & troubleshooting

  • Why did this call fail?

In Genesys Cloud CXThe SIP Diagnostics section of an interaction's Details tab offers the SIP traces file and a PCAP download.

  • What exactly happened on this one conversation?

In Genesys Cloud CXThe interaction details page has tabs for details, timeline, quality summary, transcripts and audit trail.

  • Why did the IVR send this caller to the wrong queue, or hang up on them?

In Genesys Cloud CXA flow's Execution History and Replay Mode replay one flow instance in Architect, where execution data is stored.

  • What did our bot hear, and where does recognition break down?

In Genesys Cloud CXThe Bot Performance Detail view and the Bot Conversation Library cover bot metrics and recent sessions.

  • Which data actions are failing, with what errors, and on which days?

    • Data Actions Diagnostics
  • Did my change work? Place a test call and check what the flow wrote.

    • Call Tester
    • Schedule Checker

Audit, compliance & governance

  • Why is this user on a higher licence tier, and which role change would bring them down?

In Genesys Cloud CXA user's Divisions & Licenses tab shows their licence and add-ons, and the Edit Role page shows the licence a role requires.

  • Who holds an admin or supervisory role, and who can change roles?

In Genesys Cloud CXRole membership lists who holds each role.

  • Do any transcripts contain card or personal data that was not redacted?

In Genesys Cloud CXSpeech and Text Analytics redacts payment card and personal information into placeholders on a best-effort basis, where analytics is enabled.

  • Does every agent have a phone set as their default station, and which queues and groups are they in?

In Genesys Cloud CXThe People page and the phone, station, queue and group admin pages each show part of the picture, one object at a time.

  • What is actually in our knowledge bases, including unpublished drafts?

In Genesys Cloud CXThe knowledge workbench exports articles per knowledge base in CSV, JSON or XLSX.

In Genesys Cloud CXThe Interactions view exports CSV or PDF for custom date ranges of up to 31 days.

Apps that sound alike, and how they differ

  • Licence Optimiser Permissions Auditor

Licence Optimiser shows who holds which licence and what is billed; Permissions Auditor goes to the root cause, tracing each user's licence tier to the exact permission and role behind it and previewing role changes in a read-only what-if simulator.

  • Roles Audit Role Compliance

Roles Audit compares each role with its Genesys default, while Role Compliance lists who holds an admin or supervisory role, and where.

  • Number Inventory Number Finder DID Conflict Checker

Number Inventory is the live DID and extension list, Number Finder looks for unassigned DIDs by provider, and DID Conflict Checker maps every inbound number to the flow it reaches and flags agent-profile collisions, duplicate routings and numbers also used as outbound caller IDs.

  • Flow Journey Conversation Analyser

Both start from one conversation ID: Conversation Analyser is the full forensic report (participants, timeline, timings, audio quality and participant data) with flow replay on demand, whereas Flow Journey concentrates on the Architect flow execution alone, as a numbered written analysis and a node-graph diagram.

  • IVR Sankey Journey Analyser Bot Flow Diagnostics

IVR Sankey maps the whole population of one flow's calls with participant-data splits, Journey Analyser builds Journey Management-style funnels of event cards over the execution traces of the flows you watch, and Bot Flow Diagnostics covers Architect bot and digital bot flows, down to what callers said that the bot did not understand.

  • Flow Mapper Flow Narrator Architect Tools

Flow Mapper is an interactive diagram explorer, configuration audit and as-built Word document for the whole org; Flow Narrator writes a plain-English Word or PDF narrative of one starting flow and everything it calls; Architect Tools brings together a flow browser, health checks, history and dead-config detection.

Inside the App Suite

The story behind each app.

Every app with a user guide also has an article in our Innovation series: the problem it solves, what Genesys Cloud CX does natively, and how we built it.

Security at a glance

What each app can touch, keep and send.

One card for every app with a user guide: whether it can change your org, how it signs in, what it keeps, whether it uses AI, the Genesys Cloud permissions it relies on and what it can export. Each guide has the full detail.
