Accessibility statement
How we build www.qvccs.com so that everyone can use it, how we test it, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
1. Our commitment
Quo Vadis CCS Ltd wants everyone who visits this website to be able to read it, find their way around it and reach us, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. Accessibility is part of how every page is built and released, not a separate project, and every change to the site passes the same checks before it goes live.
2. The standard we work to
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. These are the internationally recognised guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium, and they cover how content is perceived, operated and understood, and how well it works with assistive technologies. Where we fall short of them, we treat it as a fault to fix rather than a design choice.
3. What you can expect
- A "skip to content" link, one main heading per page, headings in order and landmarks for the header, navigation, main content and footer.
- Every feature works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Text and controls meet WCAG AA colour contrast in both the light and dark themes, which follow your device's setting.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% and pages reflow on narrow screens; wide tables scroll sideways rather than being cut off.
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion, and nothing plays sound unless you choose it.
- Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers.
- Tables have captions and header cells, and links say where they go.
- Pages and navigation work without JavaScript (the voice AI cost calculator needs it), the site sets no cookies, and nothing times out.
4. How we test
Before every release, every page is checked automatically with axe-core against the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules, in both the light and dark themes. Every page is also rendered at phone, tablet and desktop widths to catch content that overflows, overlaps or is cut off. Automated tools cannot find every problem, which is why your feedback matters.
5. Known limitations
Some of our in-depth guides and articles include diagrams and screenshots of Genesys Cloud CX. Each has a text alternative, but a complex diagram is described in summary, so the surrounding text carries the full explanation. Documents and pages we link to on other websites, including vendors' documentation, are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
6. Feedback and help
If something on this website is hard to use, or you need information from it in another format, please tell us at enquiries@qvccs.com or call +44 (0)20 4620 3200. Say which page you were on and what got in your way. We will reply, and either fix the problem or get you the information in a format that works for you.
